In Professor Torkkeli’s training session we will also address the following issues related to open innovation:
- The fundamental definitions and concept of open innovation - do we understand it too narrowly?
- Modes of inbound open innovation, i.e. external acquisition of knowledge, and outbound open innovation, i.e.
external exploitation of knowledge - Process models of inbound and outbound open innovation. The role and importance of the individual process phases
- Identifying open innovation activities in real life firms
Target group:
People with a higher education (university or polytechnic) in North Karelia and students of the University of Eastern Finland. Also exchange students of the UEF and the North Karelian University of Applied Sciences are warmly welcomed. The seminar is free of charge for the target group.
